What helps before the inspection

Tell us when the problem appears, where it is visible inside, whether it changes with wind direction, and whether previous repairs have been attempted. Interior and exterior photographs are useful, but they do not replace safe roof access and inspection.

Repair or replacement?

A targeted repair can be sensible where the defect is localised and the surrounding roofing remains serviceable. Where deterioration is widespread or several important details are failing, compare the repair with a defined roof replacement scope before spending repeatedly on short-term work.

Roof access and safety

Roof inspection and repair involve working at height. Access, edge protection, brittle materials, weather and the area below the work all need to be considered. We may need photographs and an initial discussion before confirming how the roof can be assessed safely.

Can you quote a leak repair from a photograph?

A photograph can help with initial triage, but it rarely shows the complete water path or condition of surrounding details. The scope normally needs an on-site assessment.

Do you provide emergency 24-hour repairs?

Emergency availability is not guaranteed. Send the property address, photographs and a description of the issue, or call during business hours, so we can confirm availability and discuss safe next steps.

Should I climb onto the roof to find the leak?

No. Wet, steep, brittle or unfamiliar roofs can be dangerous. Keep clear of the roof and use safe observations from inside or ground level when possible.
